We
all know what it means for a lady or a woman to be Miss Independent? But some
people did not understand when I had to use the word “Lady Boss”. Been a lady
boss is different form been Miss Independent.
Generally
we all know what been independent means, when we say a lady or a woman is Miss Independent, it simply means a lady who
can handle her bills, and take absolute care of herself. But this time she will
not be described to be just an independent lady but a boss lady. So without dragging
out too mush point, I guess we all know what we mean when we call someone the
boss?
A Lady Boss is a lady who I describe to has passed the normal stage of been
independent but now have people who depend on them. There are so many ladies
out there who are no more in the level of miss independent but now described
boss. Let’s take a look at women like Indra Nooyi, the Chief Executive Officer of PepsiCo, she is the third-wealthiest women CEO of Fortune 500 companies by
2016 Fortune 500 ranking. Angela
Ahrendts, the Senior Vice President of Apple. As at 2004 she was on the salary
of US$73.1 million. What about Anne Sweeney, An American businesswoman. Anne Marie Sweeney is an American businesswoman. She was
formerly the co-chair of Disney Media, President of the Disney–ABC Television
Group, and the President of Disney Channel from 1996 to 2014. We also have
ladies like, Irene Rosenfeld, Mary T. Barra, Susan Wojcicki and many others.
But I guess most of us know the world famous Oprah Winfrey, An American media proprietor. Oprah Winfrey is an American media proprietor, talk show
host, actress, producer, and philanthropist. She is best known for her talk show The Oprah Winfrey Show, which was the highest-rated television program of its kind
in history and was nationally syndicated from 1986 to 2011 in Chicago,
Illinois. Dubbed the "Queen of
All Media", she has been ranked the richest
African-American, the greatest black philanthropist in American
history, and is North America's first multi-billionaire black
person. Several assessments rank her as the most influential woman in the
world. In 2013, she was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom by President Barack Obama and honorary
doctorate degrees from Duke and Harvard.
When
we are describing ladies there are some we should call lady boss instead of
miss independent.
